Welcome to Bethesda Chocolates, a small local chocolate shop that takes pride in providing handcrafted chocolates made from fresh, high quality ingredients in small batches. Our chocolate company was founded by Heather Cooper in 2017, who had always had a passion for chocolate. Her appreciation for chocolate began during her study abroad program in college in Belgium, where she learned to appreciate the art of chocolate making and became a chocolate connoisseur.

Heather’s passion for chocolate led her to pursue her dream of creating exquisite chocolates that rivaled the quality of chocolates she had tasted in Europe. After many trials and tastings, Heather perfected her craft and opened up a small local shop in Bethesda, Maryland, where she could share her love for chocolate with the community.
